Here is the Carter Family timeline. All informaion is not guaranteed. If you find any errors of any kind feel free to contact me and i will correct the information.

1979- Bob Carter marries Jane Spalding
1980- Nickolas Gene Carter is born in Jamestown, NY
1981- Bobbie Jean (Bj) is born
1983- The Carter family leave their home in the country and move to Tampa, FL to start a new buisness. The moved into a retirement home where Bob started working.
1986- Lesie Carter was born. Nick started performing to audiences around florida.
1987-Fraternal twins Aaron and Angel were born.
1988- Nick played the lead role in the production "Phantom of the Opera" and entered several talent quests.
1989- Nick started recording several tracks with his vocal coach. And was a vocalist at the Tampa Bay Buccaneer pre-game shows
1990- The Carter family moved from their home in florida. Bob carter became a diving instructor.
1992- Nick now 12 joins a band with 4 other guys Aj, Brian, Kevin and Howie they name themselfs "Backstreet boys". Leslie starts school.
1994- Aaron and Angel start school.
1995- BSB release their first single. Aaron is signed to Trans records.
1996- At the age of 8 Aaron releases his first album with single. Aaron and Angel start home school.
1998- Bobs daughter from a previous marrige Ginger gave birth to her first child. BSB start recording their 3rd album.
1999- The Carter family move to a flash new pad in Florida where Aaron will record his new album. Nick moves out and goes on tour with BSB.
2000- Aaron releases his 2nd album and tours europe. Jane writes a book about Aaron. BSB release their 5th album.
2001- Leslie carter now 15 releases her first and only single "Like wow". Aaron releases his 3rd album. BJ continues college.
2002- Nick is arrested in a nightclub after a brawl. Angel is signed to a model contract and aaron releases is 4th album. Nick starts up his own powerboat racing team with Bob they won several of their races.Nick releases a solo album.
2003- Bj is arrested and charged with battery after a fight involving 3 other teenage girls and angel. The Carter family moved to a 3 acre 2 stored home in Key West. Leslie Carter now 17 moves out. Aaron starts his Jukebox tour in july. In August Bob is arrested and Jane and Bob file for divorse. Aaron releases his "Most requested hits" album.
2004- Jane Carter is arrested for battery on attempt of beating up bobs girlfriend. There is word that there will be a Carters reality TV show
